I think my favorite recipe (so far) on my Rockstar Doggy Momma blog is the turkey burgers because on a practical note they’re great to make for dinner then have for lunch the next day (or following day) with a salad. So good!

Instructions
  1. Preheat indoor or outdoor grill.
  2. Heat olive oil in a medium sauce pan and sauté the garlic, onion and parsley, once the onions are translucent add in the spinach. Set aside to cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl combine the turkey breast, pesto, sundried tomatoes and sautéed vegetables.
  4. Form into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Grill the burgers until they are cooked through and melt the cheese on top.
  6. Top each burger with one tomato and ¼ cup of arugula.
Recipe Notes

Serve burgers on two green lettuce leafs or a whole grain English muffin with a Personalized Side Salad.

If you are craving French Fries, serve your burgers bun-less with Parmesan Oregano Potato Wedges.
